This has been a truly exciting time for me.

It was just announced that I am one of three winners of the prestigious 2013 Mary Sawyer Baker Artist Award! What an incredible distinction and honor!

I am also incredibly excited about my recent trip to China’s two most prestigious music schools: The China Conservatory and The Central Conservatory of Music. I gave recitals in both schools as well as numerous masterclasses. I am looking forward to going back this June for the First International Cello Festival at the Central Conservatory!

In my second season as the principal cello of the Baltimore Symphony I had an honor of performing solo with this fantastic Orchestra. The Brahms Double with Jonathan Carney was just unforgettable!

My other performances have included Music in the Great Hall recital on October 7th with Lura Johnson and the Lutoslawski cello concerto with the National Philharmonic January 26, 27 2013.
